Your leave details stay in your browser

Your leave balance, trips, dates and settings are saved only in your browser on your own device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Analytics, only if you accept

If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These tools collect information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and anonymous actions like "a trip was added" or which result was shown.

Microsoft Clarity also records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can find parts of the design that are confusing. Text on the page is masked in these recordings.

We don't send your leave balance, dates or trip names to these tools, and we don't use them for advertising.

If you decline, these tools aren't loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

Cookies we use

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): tells visits apart. Lasts up to 2 years.
• Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk and related Microsoft cookies): links page views into a session. Lasts up to 1 year.

We also save your cookie choice in your browser so we don't ask again. Change your cookie settings

Other services

The site is hosted by Netlify, which may log standard technical information such as IP addresses for security and reliability. Public holiday data for some future years is loaded from Nager.Date, which receives a standard web request from your browser.
